RYOBI MHI 925 Earns Graph Expo Must See 'Ems Award

Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology Ltd. is running live LED-UV press demonstrations at both Graph Expo 15 & IGAS 2015 (Tokyo)

MARIETTA, GEORGIA — August 25, 2015 — Graphic Systems North America (GSNA), the authorized reseller for RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology Ltd (RMGT) offset presses in North America, announces that the RYOBI MHI 925 LED-UV Press has received the prestigious MUST SEE ‘EMS award in connection with GRAPH EXPO 15. Recognized as “Best of Category” for the Offset Pressroom, this 5-color, 8-up press, featuring LED-UV curing and SMART RPC technology, will be running live demonstrations during Graph Expo, on Sept 13-16, 2015 in Booth #4213.

“Our customers are validating the benefits of the RYOBI MHI 925 LED-UV Press with SMART RPC technology,” states Don Barbour, GSNA chairman and co-founder. “One of the benefits they mention is how simultaneous plate changing shortens make-ready and closes the ‘cost-of-manufacturing gap’ between high quality offset and high cost digital printing.” The annual MUST SEE ‘EMS competition recognizes the most compelling new products being introduced at Graph Expo and is presented by the show’s producer, the Graphic Arts Show Company.

In the midst of a record year in North America, RMGT will offer live press demonstrations on two continents, simultaneously, at the Printing Industry’s two major trade shows. “Our Commit to Print message resonated so well last year that despite the obvious challenges of presenting two major exhibitions on two continents on the same week we decided to go for it,” states Don Barbour. “Our pre-show registrations are up significantly over last year and the response from customers ready to see ink on paper again has been tremendous.”

Continuing to grow their global presence, RMGT will exhibit at both IGAS 2015 (International Graphic Arts Show), from Sept. 11-16, 2015 in Tokyo, and Graph Expo 15, from Sept. 13-16, 2015 in Chicago. Four full size presses will be exhibited in total making the RMGT global exhibition of offset printing equipment for 2015 truly powerful.

The RYOBI MHI 925 LED-UV Press with SMART RPC technology delivers unmatched advantage for printers who need the versatility of LED-UV instant curing, latest-generation automation and broad substrate capabilities—in a package that provides the lowest total cost to print when compared with other 8-up presses. The SMART RPC Fully Automatic Plate Changer greatly shortens plate-changing time and reduces operator workload. Through simple touch panel operation, plate changing is automatically performed on all units simultaneously. This provides powerful support for frequent job changeovers and diverse small-lot printing.

Press release from the issuing company

Push Solutions and Paducah Printing announce 925D LED-UV purchases.

MARIETTA, GA - RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology, Ltd (RMGT) together with Graphic Systems North America (GSNA) displayed the latest in LED-UV printing technology during the Commit to Print Open House at their demonstration center in Marietta, Georgia. Graphco, the Midwest-based distributor for RMGT, announced at the Open House the closing of two RYOBI MHI 925D LED-UV press sales to Push Solutions (Milwaukee, WI) and Paducah Printing (Paducah, KY).

“We are thrilled to satisfy the pent up demand for offset presses in the North American market”, states Chris Manley of Graphco, a GSNA member. “Our announcement of two more RYOBI MHI press sales during the Open House continues to validate our conviction that fast and efficient offset print continues to play a vital role in the print production needs of our customers.”

The Commit to Print Open House also featured a panel discussion where printing companies offered insights into how they have rapidly expanded their commercial print business by leveraging RYOBI MHI technology. RYOBI MHI LED-UV customers shared their experience of rapid deployment and quick adoption in the pressroom along with incredible acceptance by their customers. Wayne Welkner of J&J Printing in Kansas City summed things up nicely. “The very first sheets off our brand new LED-UV RYOBI were clean, dry and ready to sell. This technology just works.”

The RYOBI MHI Commit to Print campaign now shifts to booth 4213 in the upcoming Graph Expo 2015 where RYOBI MHI will be running live press demonstrations and presentations throughout the show in their continued efforts to help printers in North America increase productivity and efficiency. “Last year’s show increased awareness of the RYOBI MHI brand and the results were outstanding. The major increase in demand for fast and efficient RYOBI MHI presses should make Graph Expo 2015 an even bigger success,” states Don Barbour of PHS and the GSNA Chairman.

Ryobi MHI, Cron, and GSNA Announce Major Exhibit at Graph Expo/CPP Expo

8/25/2014

Press release from the issuing company

North American premier of RYOBI MHI 925 LED-UV press with INSTA.COLOR and CRON UVP 36 CTP—both running live at Booth 4404

RYOBI MHI 925 LED-UV winner of Must See ‘Em 2014 award

CHICAGO—Sheetfed offset printing is back at Graph Expo.  Celebrating a successful first year as the North American distributor for RYOBI MHI, GSNA will spotlight RYOBI MHI and CRON CTP technology in live demonstrations during its COMMIT TO PRINT exhibition,

Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Why COMMIT TO PRINT?  Throughout the North American print market, one message is clear: reports of the demise of print have been exaggerated.  But the rolling stock of offset printing equipment in the industry is aging—in need of replacement and upgrade.

Successful printers today require a combination of high-speed production, low cost of manufacturing, quality and reliability.  Enter RYOBI MHI and CRON with the most affordable, productive and reliable combination of fully automated offset presses and CTP on the market.  The COMMIT TO PRINT booth will spotlight the complete package in one place.

Headlining the exhibit:  live presentations and pre-scheduled VIP demos of the 8-up RYOBI 925 press with LED-UV instant curing technology, which earned a coveted Must See ‘Em 2014 award, together with RYOBI MHI’s INSTA.COLOR digital makeready workflow.

Picture
Special emphasis will also be placed on the CRON UVP 36 metal CTP and Blackwood plates, one of the most versatile and cost-efficient combinations available today. CRON CTP solutions are available through select GSNA distributors.

“Seeing is believing in the world of print,” says Don Barbour, chairman and co-founder of GSNA.  “At each of our open house events, customers told us they had no idea this powerful combination of offset technology was within their financial reach.  So we decided to showcase that message and the technology on an international stage.”

The combination of CRON CTP’s industry-leading 1% dot-gain allowance and the well-known RYOBI MHI extreme dot sharpness will be emphasized throughout the live demonstrations.

“The images and workflow we will present mirror what commercial, in-plant, packaging and specialty printers produce every day.  At the Chicago show, we will plate and print live jobs every hour to highlight the speed, reliability and versatility of our system,” says Barbour.

Breakpoints between digital and offset print have never been more closely contested.  The COMMIT TO PRINT exhibit will clearly show printers that the RYOBI MHI LED-UV offset workflow provides the lowest total manufacturing cost on run lengths as short as 750-1,000 sheets—together with production levels exceeding 2,100 instantly cured and ready-to-sell letter-size sheets per minute in a 16-page signature format for ease of finishing.
